"Art"

Created from the spray painted word "Art" located in the financial district and various debris (a discarded face mask, cigarette butts, napkin, rubber spacer ring, wire caps, plastic piece and dried flora and granules of sand from nearby Boston Harbor) located in a sheltered corner of the bricked pier along "Harbor Walk."
Yes, Boston is virtually COVID free! There were single digit cases on many of the days I was there and 0 deaths! It was a pleasure to feel free again and to be able to breathe in the refreshing air without a mask and feel safe doing so! :) This is definite reason to smile!!!
The soft colors chosen are meant to portray the sea and its flora and to represent the freshness of the pleasant sea breeze since Boston Harbor is only feet away from this sheltered corner of the pier.

Just yesterday, I became aware of a movement in the United States that has developed its own unique approach, while also taking children and young people off the streets to spare them a career in crime. I was deeply touched and am grateful that, in addition to many gangs, there are such art-oriented, socially constructive groups that are using the opportunities of this pandemic to do lasting good.

As a side note, I live in NY and since I've now returned to NY I again always wear a mask when outdoors since unlike the educated, younger people of Boston, many New Yorkers appear ignorant and refuse to get the vaccine and yet are the first ones not to wear a mask! Everyone in my family received both shots and are fully vaccinated and all of us are well despite the fake news and conspiracy theories circulating the web. Perhaps the Delta variant is a warning since in the USA unvaccinated people without the antibodies make up the significant number of new cases. It will be truly sad if they ruin it for everyone, but they won't care. :(
