i like the cat on the window

Strange and wonderful light, shadow and colour. I feel as though I could sit here all day…until the cat wanted to be fed, of course.
The light has a Vermeer- like quality. It radiates stillness.

This is where I write most of my stories. However, they are far from sunny and bright.

I love the chiaroscuro effect - the contrast of light and shadow. Caravaggio used it in his brilliant paintings.
