I must admit that I have never seen a moon as big or as sharp as this down on the horizon.
Also a little puzzled as to how this phase of the moon followed the full moon on 21 January..!!
Even more puzzled that a half moon like this rises at around midnight, and sets around mid day, when it is too bright to see it..
Perhaps you were in the land of the midnight sun!!!!!
