I took these photos yesterday at a large gathering of lovers of classic two-wheelers.
Unfortunately, I just heard that this little swallow had to be euthanized today. :(

What a cute little bird, sad to hear it didn't make it!
Here they recently asked people not to pick up any chicks that seemed abandoned as their parents would usually find them (but wouldn't take them back if touched by humans).
The only exception are swifts. They drop out of their nests when it's too hot even if they cannot yet fly and the adult birds won't come for them.
