Worm Fence in the Snow

Atop the hill known as Little Round Top on Gettysburg Battlefield of American Civil War. One of the first places in the Eastern Theater in the first two years of The Civil War that the Union forces were able to turn back a Confederate offensive. (Although if ill-fated Picketts Charge had actually succeeded the next day, it wouldn't have made any difference; but of all the leaders on either side only Confederate Generals Lee and Pickett thought it could succeed, and they were wrong.)
