A view along the former towpath of the the 'Leeds' to 'Liverpool' Canal - this remarkable work of engineering ,. began in 1770 and covers a distance of 127 miles (204 km), including 91 locks.
Interestingly - the wall to the left is where the 'River Aire' runs from 'Right to Left' 10 metres 'below' the canal.
