When I was interrailing in GB in the 80ies I saw quite a few of these, here it's still going strong!

Certainly going well at 65 years old!!
Over 300 of these were made as well as some similar looking express passenger locomotives (see below). So if you were here in the 80s, it is more than likely you saw quite a few!!!!
