Review of The Battle of the Sexes - Statue

The Danish title of the statue is the "The love battle" - so less violent than the English translation.

But who knows what they are fighting about? Is she a willing partner in the embrace - or trying to flee from him?
She seems very willing in this dance of courtship in the neoclassic style.
The sculptor was a Danish artist, who lived in Paris for a while and took part in the Cubits movement. When WWI started, he had to return home and his following pieces changed in style - like this one from 1921-22. It makes a perfect match for the old royal park."
