What interested me was the comparison of the nice posh door on the right, and the scruffy rotten door on the left, with the aged gentleman completing the third point of interest.
Hello Peter! My Goodness, what an old building, and the two doors, even older?? the door closer here, is sooo interesting. Hope the "young man" gets on to his destination safely., a really nice shot Peter. YS... Sarah
Nearly everything I saw of Italy looked like this, some interesting details, on a lot of old buildings. I am sure the gentleman got home, as Bromio is only a very small town, and everybody had gone for siesta!
Your thoughtful visit is most welcome. Certainly the doors are old, but unfortunately I have no idea of the history of the town to get any idea of what they are talking about.
I did think they looked worthy of a photo though!
Thank you so much for your very artistic thoughts on the old things in the picture!
I am so pleased that you like the composition, and that you have visited!
I am glad you have enjoyed this one. One of the themes which stood out when I saw this scene was 'old'. To be honest, I think it looks better here than it did in real life!
