What I find with archives is that my pictures are a lot better than what I turn out now, just shows the restriction and loss of inspiration this virus is causing. Anyway HFF and a good weekend for you Sarah. Take care and stay safe.

Oh, HappySnapper! Don't let the restrictions stifle your art! During the first wave that hit Italy so hard we were completely confined at home for two months (not allowed even to take walks, unless you had a dog and then only for the time it took for your pet to do it business). At first it crushed my inspiration, but then it made me try to look with fresh eyes at the everyday details of life within our home and garden. Most of it was unremarkable, I admit, but there were some images I ended up being very fond of. Perhaps a good time to experiment with food photography? I also found it interesting to "follow the light" around the house and study how it played with curtains, or on shiny table tops, or on my (often dusty) knickknacks and bookshelves at different times of day. Maybe for you it will be other things, but I am sure you have what it takes to find opportunities even where none seem apparent! Hang in there, my friend!
