Carn Galva

by Andy Rodker
It's granite scenery with evidence of very ancient fields and their walls, and more recent tin mining activity (although not so recent, really; the tin mine never really paid its way and closed down in the 1860s).
Best on large and then large again for detail.

Is this the longer way round to the pub Andy?

I love your composition here with that gorgeous blue sky and the solitary cloud. The path makes a super leading line towards the base of the hill. I like the stone walls as well and the lovely colours in the landscape.

Interesting notes too.

Wow Andy what a gorgeous photo. The blue sky really emphasises the landscape and you can really realise how beautiful it is. I also love those drystone walls. I wonder how old they are - probably older than the tin mine.
