St Agnes Head (2) HANWE Everyone!

Same walk and scramble down as adjacent image. My first such scramble in years (post - COVID). I did it all the way down (this shot is from the halfway point) and, importanly, back but was shattered at the end. Out of practice. (And, in my defence, I had the wrong footwear and the rocks were crumbly and the grass slippery). I need to get much fitter for revived walks in La Sierra de Cabrera this coming spring!

A smashing pair of photos Andy............it's good you've finally got out for some "proper" walking and a bit of scrambling. Reading between the lines I'm guessing that apart from being tired, you thoroughly enjoyed yourself. :-))

Just brilliant!

Wow Andy - that's a brilliant photo of this part of the coastline. I'm not surprised you were exhausted going down there and then back up again. I'm pleased to hear that you are talking about going up the Sierra de la Cabrera again in Spring.

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

Thank you, Jenny. Up until a few years ago I would spend a whole day on these cliffs and going from top to bottom and back again many many times in the day. This would be my warming up walk as I always did it first. And it would take me about 7-8 minutes if I didn't stop to take a shot or 20!
It seems I return to Spain for 4 weeks only in May. Family problems all round are starting to mean there's literally no-one else to help share the burdon with me. It will soon be one whole year since I saw my girl friend. Yes we are in contact daily but even so ...
