Saint Day garden

At the back is the former garage but it is now my mum's potting shed, painting studio, storage space and so on! Someone on Panoramio assumed that it was the house of my parents!

It's lovely to see your mum's garden, she really loves it there and it's so beautifully crammed with lots of country garden flowers. She is lucky to have a place to have a painting studio etc. An old garage is such a good place for things like that

I love the stones edging the path Andy. Everyone needs a potting/painting shed :)

Andy Rodker replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

The path edging (and the path) were my contribution to the garden when they moved in here 20 or so years ago. I remember the stones were HEAVY! (My Mum couldn't possibly have managed, although she is pretty strong). I enjoyed creating the jagged edge!

Wow! Your Mum has managed to squeeze an amazing amount of flowers into that tiny space! A beautiful garden Andy!

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

Thanks, Keith!
This is about half of the garden. My previous upload, a few shots back, shows the view looking the other way, towards the house. So it is a small but long and narrow garden and my Mum has made an excellent job of maximising the space she has.
