Coastal erosion on the southwest peninsula Coastpath at Treaga Hill, Portreath

This path was still there in 2014, and 15. When I revisited in 2017, however, it had gone. such is the inexorable tide of erosion here.

Everyone, remember an old trick and cover/close your other eye when viewing images like this ;-)

It does not work to all, but often it helps to experience the depth in the two dimensional image.

Erosion is always such a problem. That is why Lyme Regis has worked really hard with all their walkways along the sea defences. I don't think I would go too near in edge here though!!
