Le Corentin est un trois-mâts, gréé de voiles au tiers, également nommé « lougre ». C’est une réplique d’un bateau chasse-marée caboteur datant du XIXe s., L’Aimable Irma. Ces types de bateaux étaient généralement destinés au transport de marchandises. Construit en 1990-1991 au chantier naval de Saint-Guénolé à Quimper, à l’initiative d’un groupe de passionnés, le Corentin est basé à Concarneau et est entretenu par l’association Le lougre de l’Odet. Il est actuellement affrété pour des croisières de loisirs et des projets pédagogiques.

ce vieux gréement hors du commun! Inscrit au patrimoine national portugais, ce navire exceptionnel fut construit en 1937, à Lisbonne, pour le compte d’une société de pêche. Dédié à la pêche à la morue, le Santa Maria Manuela sera aménagé et modernisé au fil des décennies, jusqu’à sa fin de mise en service en 1993. Grâce à la volonté de la fondation éponyme, il est restauré à partir de 2010, pour devenir un navire-école, dédié à la formation et au tourisme culturel. Cette goélette à quatre-mâts est l’une des dernières survivantes de la flotte morutière portugaise.

The Corentin is a three-masted ship, rigged with third sails, also called a “lugger”. It is a replica of a coaster tide chase boat dating from the 19th century, the Aimable Irma. These types of boats were generally intended for transporting goods. Built in 1990-1991 at the Saint-Guénolé shipyard in Quimper, on the initiative of a group of enthusiasts, the Corentin is based in Concarneau and is maintained by the Le lougre de l'Odet association. It is currently chartered for leisure cruises and educational projects.

this extraordinary old rigging! Listed as a Portuguese national heritage, this exceptional ship was built in 1937, in Lisbon, for a fishing company. Dedicated to cod fishing, the Santa Maria Manuela was developed and modernized over the decades, until its end of service in 1993. Thanks to the wishes of the eponymous foundation, it was restored from 2010, to become a training ship, dedicated to training and cultural tourism. This four-masted schooner is one of the last survivors of the Portuguese cod fishing fleet.
