Titanic Museum

This is the Titanic Museum in the old Belfast Shipyards just a short distance from where the Titanic was built. We explored the waterfront and former shipyards when we were in Northern Ireland recently, something we had been able to do when we lived in Northern Ireland. At that time the whole area was undeveloped. It is now a complex of shops, apartments, museums and memorials.

I knew this was taken in Belfast even before I opened the photo. This is an iconic structure of Titanic Belfast, and is located 100 metres in front of where Titanic's hull was constructed and launched.

RHH replied to Amelia:

You are correct, Amelia, but this was the first time we saw the museum, since it was not there when we lived in Northern Ireland.

We visited here as well. Even though I am not obsessed with the Titanic, I found this to be a wonderful and engaging museum.
