When in Northern Ireland recently we attended a conference at Castlewellan Christian Conference Center in County Down. The castle, formerly the residence of the Annesley family, is now in a forest park that includes the arboretum and walled gardens established by the Annesleys. The arboretum is the National Arboretum of Northern Ireland., It, the arboretum, the forest park and the castle lie at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down "where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea."
