This photo shows Lake Magog, Mount Magog and Mount Assiniboine from the short trail to Lake Magog from the campground which was our final destination on our family backpacking trip. Myself, my son-in-law and his two oldest boys hiked to Mount Assiniboine from Sunshine Meadows ski resort near Canmore. Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park is in British Columbia on the border with Alberta, a border which we crossed several times while hiking. The peaks shown lie on that border.
