Today's story starts here at the Kinney Lake campground on the north end of Kinney Lake. As those who have been following recent posts know, we recently backpacked the Berg Lake trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia. When this photo was taken we had hiked six kilometers up an old road anfd through the wooded hills on the east side of Kinney Lake. We started at 9:00 am and reaching this point at noon. We made a long stop before Kinney Lakes to photograph orchids and stopped again here for a break and lunch (tinned sardines, ramen noodles and coffee) and to refill our water bottles.
