Robson River

My wife took this picture, one of the minor irritations I have to endure when backpacking, though I suppose I should be pleased that she wants to photograph me. At least in this case there's more backpack than me. The picture was taken along the Berg Lake trail where the trail descends from the hills north of Kinney Lake and crosses the Robson River for a second time (we would cross two more times) over a double bridge and a small island. From there we would cross the flood plain and climb Whitehorn Hill, a grueling 4 kilometer climb to Whitehorn Basin where we camped the first night.
