I know what you mean: anyone who doesn’t have a big colorful flower against a B&W flowerbed in his portfolio hasn’t proven he can take pictures. ;-)
Not with me! I know I have sinned, but deep inside I’m a purist...

Like the Bavarians, the English have strong stomachs. I doubt if I could eat a single Yorkshire Pudding without ending up in the ER of the local hospital, and I also avoid these typically Dutch fritters if I can. I bought two for my mother, though (elsewhere).
By the end of the evening she complained that she hadn’t had “that New Year’s Eve” feeling, so perhaps I have failed: I should have taken the risk (the other mistake I made was toasting with Jägermeister instead of champagne).
