Illa de sa Dragonera - Mallorca
During May and June the Yellow-legged Gulls (Larus cacchinans) are breeding, so you will be dive-bombed by angry adults defending their young. We were there in June when the chicks were nearly fledged - so were walking about and often on the path. This guaranteed a lot of diving gulls.
They are not as troublesome though as Herring Gulls and Greater Black-backs on Walney Island in the UK where they hit you all the time!
Just west of here we watched a pair of Eleanora's Falcons hunting for around half an hour - didn't want to leave the island!
