Very long time ago (2009) there has been ipernity logo contest:
www.ipernity.com/blog/team/183060

I accidentally found that out when searching articles about ipernity. Maybe we could arrange another contest, but just with much smaller reward =P

Personally, I don't think the logo should be replaced: we _saved_ ipernity and are proud that it lives on. A new logo for me has the meaning of "we change our product to something different".

(I'm all for adjusting the start page to reflect what ipernity is and offers now.)

Hi Manu!
I totally agree! The trademark itself should stay untouched! On the other hand: Even very old, traditional companies sometimes modernized their Logo to signalize a major change. (Have a look to the logo of "Shell" perhaps, or to the "Microsoft" Logo, or to that one of "Mozilla".)
With other words: Before we make a final decision, we should find the answer to the question: "Will the "new" ipernity be the same one as the "old" one, or will it be different.
