Magnificent capture!

anche se non è certo un'architettura da salvare a tutti i costi, tutto sommato non aveva un pessimo impatto ambientale...
e com'è l'isola adesso ? non l'avranno rovinata con il cemento ?
ottima ripresa, e mi piacciono sempre i tuoi toni "sabbiosi" !

No, non l'hanno rovinata con il cemento dato che non è permesso costruire (è parco marino) ma la pressione delle presenze umane d'estate è- secondo i miei standard - insostenibile - fiumi di vacanzieri la raggiungono col traghetto e invadono le spiagge - e dal mare arrivano flotte di barche di tutti i tipi. Entrambe le categorie lasciano il loro regalino sotto forma di rifiuti... gente per bene ovviamente. Io ci vado normalmente in primavera, prima dell'arrivo dei Visigoti. Ma ormai tutta la Sardegna sta diventando così...

It looks beautiful , the ruins blend well with the local stone. Itr must have been boring though for the soldiers once stationed there;-)

That's what I thought myself. They lived in a paradise, I assure you that this island is so beautiful, but I'm sure they didn't care for it.... There is one series of hidden small forts and barracks, carved inside granite boulders and so perfectly camouflaged just by the sea,in a fantastic place (probably I'll post some photos later on).
