A Yorkshire Dales sunset

Here, high above the Yorkshire Dales villages of Settle and Langcliffe we witness a typical late afternoon winter light. This area is festooned with dry stone boundary walls but it has a great deal of natural limestone outcrops too as witnessed here.

Great that you loved this capture which could easily have been one of your own. I have just looked at my original set of photos and you are right have a lot of shots including Pen-y-Ghent of course. It was a golden moment - taken at 17:15. I might share some of them too. Many were on our old Panoramio. Many thanks for the double golden star.
