A corner of Tarn Hows

After passing the small herd of Belted Galloway bullocks and deciding that we would have our picnic further along the lake, we looked back and saw this very nice scene. I liked the ochre coloured ferns contrasting with the blue sky and water here.

See PiP for original cattle picnic time.

Have a perfect day.

If you have never been there, it is a must but like so many places, it depends so much on the weather. Glad you liked it.

Those cattle really stand out in the landscape Herb........and what a gorgeous landscape it is. Captured in glorious sunshine with wonderful colours. I love the light on the water too! A beautiful day and a beautiful shot..!! ⭐️

Herb Riddle replied to Keith Burton:

Many thanks for this comment and star my friend. Yes a great place to ponder in these conditions. Since, as you know, light makes landscapes, this was about perfect. In reality there was a new picture every few further yards and so the possibility of over-kill in photography and Ipernity terms. (some more to come though yet.
