A Holkham Hall view

Forest walk done, Picnic by the lake done. Next stop the house - unfortunately it was closed. Lots of deer about here. More time needed than we had.

Holkham Hall is an 18th-century country house near the village of Holkham, Norfolk, England, constructed in the Neo-Palladian style for Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester. It sits on 25,000 acres of deer park, gardens and a lake.

A beautiful spot under a gentle sun. Perfect for a picnic. I feel nostalgic for spring when I see this picture. Kind regards, Anton.
