As we start our steep decent to the Ogden and Piethorne reservoir chain I look over the wall and see again a reservoir that we have never walked to. This is the small Rooden reservoir and we can see how low it is in our current draught conditions after having no significant rainfall now for nearly two months with almost continuous sunny warm weather.
