Garden visitor

I know that I am lucky to possess a house with gardens, and even luckier to have lots of wild garden visitors. Besides numerous birds, occasional foxes and badgers we have a permanent supply of grey squirrels. Here we see this cheeky devil after it tries to steal as much of the bird seeds as possible. It is one of more or less three that can’t keep away from here and we have stopped thinking of ways to discourage them as our once beautiful lawn now looks like a well-used playing field.

Essential full screen

Enjoy the day.

Ha, ha..........I've got a lawn like that as well.

This is a superb shot of this beautiful grey squirrel Herb. Your focus on its eye and the detail in it's fur is excellent, especially viewed large.

Herb Riddle replied to Keith Burton:

We are in the same club Keith. We have one pair that at times are very friendly and tolerant towards each other and then one attacks but I have very rarely seen blows land. Glad you liked my capture here.

Best Wishes. Herb
