Eilean Donan Castle
As we are staying not too far from here it gives us an opportunity to get some updated photos in somewhat better weather than the last time I saw it (pip). I took a few snaps but I liked this one against the mountains perhaps the best
"One of Scotland's most iconic and most recognisable castles set in the majestic NW highlands. The island's original castle was built in the thirteenth century; it became a stronghold of the Clan Mackenzie and their allies, the Clan MacRae. Between 1919 and 1932, the castle was rebuilt. The restoration included the construction of an arched bridge to give easier access to the island."

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
Very nice composition.
I must dig out my old pictures of this castle. We didn't go there this time as it was cold, grey and raining, so no chance of anything worthwhile..
Best Wishes, (slightly late) HFF, a nice week ahead, and stay safe!!
Peter
