NC500 GT. - 56 – John o' Groats

Well we have made it this far. After many detours we have travelled roughly 400 miles since Inverness traveling clockwise. Only 120 or so more back to our start-point Inverness again. Phew!

The NC 500: The Scottish 'North Coast 500' is one of the world’s most beautiful road trips. A route of just over 500 miles (516) of stunning coastal scenery, white sandy beaches, rugged mountains, remote fishing villages and hidden gems.

Herb Riddle replied to Roger (Grisly):

Cheers Roger. I suspect that the weather can change very fast up here. We were lucky that day. I can't see us getting back up here really, but you never really know.

I have been talking to my sister (3 years younger) about visiting John ‘O Groats which she feels like she can only remember from old Black and White photos. What she can remember was Dounreay Visitor Centre and pushing a button on a model display and it didn’t blow up :-))
