Nant Gwynant

Another golden oldie from my collection.

Taken from the A498 just above Beddgelert and below the Pen-Y-Pass to Mount Snowdon Wales.

Best at full screen. Enjoy the day.

Herb Riddle replied to David G Johnson:

Thanks a lot Dave. Not very far from where we were last year just south of Barmouth. A fine area for sure.

Take care. Herb

An absolutely cracking view Herb...................a beautiful sky and a lovely lake glistening in the light. The landscape is amazingly verdant.

Your composition is spot on with the rocks anchoring the frame nicely and the whole thing is sharp and detailed from front to back!

Hi Herb
I like this picture very much!
Of course I know the place very well indeed.
My favourite rout up Snowdon, (now officially called Yr Wyddfa) is the Watkin path starting beyond the end of the lake.
And dare I even say I must have loads of photos from here too.... Also including the rocks!
(But none on here strangely)
Best Wishes, and stay safe!!

Herb Riddle replied to Peter_Private_Box:

Thanks for this in-depth comment Peter. I expected you to know this area well. I have never walked all the way up to the summit of Snowdon having taken the train near by and walked down by the line again. Maybe one day we will see those old photos of yours from this area.

Best Wishes. Herb
