Norman Hill overflow

Walking around some of my local reservoirs brings me to this, the outlet overflow from the Norman Hill reservoir. More water in here than usual after many weeks of continues rains.

Enjoy the day

And here they will cut part of water supply, 70% cut for agriculture and 15% for people, and we will pay fines if our water consumption is above normal according to the number of persons in each house...
Your photo is a fine one and I envy your water bounty, even if floods are not easy to live.

Herb Riddle replied to Xata:

Thanks for this Isabel. On my trips to Portugal I have envied your blue skies and warmth but I must admit that I would not like your droughts, fires and super-hot temperatures. In that, our immense amount of rain here now, although most uncomfortable has its upside. Our fields are not arid but presently many are under-water. In that -bring back the old days where our weather was a much better mix.

Water is precious resource, CA is always in need of more, Last year we had enough rain, and this year too it will be enough, specially in Northern CA it will be in form of ice which will later be liberated
