It's funny but you call this an 'oldie'. To me 2013 seems like yesterday. In fact I only resumed taking photos in 2011 after a gap of 25 years and those earlier photos of mine from the 70s and early 80s are what I call 'oldies', everything else being recent history to me!
Anyway this is a delightful image, Herb with a terrific sky!

Aye Andy, I also took photos in the 70s and so in that case this, as you say is really a newbie. When I look daily now at the photos on Ipernity, I see so many taken only days before posting that I feel a bit conscious of posting ones even a few months old. Anyway, life goes on and I shall continue to post a mix here. ~ Very glad you enjoyed this that originally showed up in Panoramio.

The field and trees were very nice for me but as you say Roger -the sky really makes this.

Nicely composed to give emphasis to that amazing sky! I like the shapes of the trees, especially the two nearest the camera. I also like lines in the field.
