Astro shed

Today was not the best day for world photo day for me as I was very busy but one of the things I did do was go to Carlos place to help him. I used the time to take photos of the shed we built together for him.

Roof off.

The telescopes are in the shed so we built the shed with a Roll on roll off roof . we planed it together I gave him the measurements and to cut the material to suit . We built the shed on a 38c day and it is so simple and just works. It is still working some 6 years later just the same as we built it so I hope I really do get the chance to build the same on my own section.

I took photos so I could remember as its looking very much like I will get the chance to build the same myself. A little sorry the photo is very simple but it kind of say my day was not one out of the ordinary at all.

I would like to recommend a photographer I have know for a good few years and is much like myself so I feel happy to say check his photos out Herb Riddle

The photo, in your words, is "very simple," Steve, but to me it speaks volumes about your profound passion for astrophotography.

A great post for World Photography Day!
May you continue to enjoy this wonderful hobby!

Steve, YOU HONOUR me.

I remember seeing your original photos of you building this 'Astro' shed with Carlos. May you both continue to capture the stars and Universe like nobody else.

Your World Photography Day photo is very much in keeping with your spirit my friend.

Happy WPD, enjoy the rest of the year. Herb

Belated HWPD, Steve. Given your astro photography, this matches well.

Steve Paxton replied to tiabunna:

Oh it certainly does better than my tarp roof in the rental for more secure and looked after.
