Statue Of Liberty NGC3576

The Statue Of Liberty In Narrow band. This was a 90 degree rotation to the shot of the Christmas tree Nebula so the "lady" stands up straight and is not on an angle.

The detail of the "dress" shows up a lot more in narrow band that it ever did with a one shot camera. The shot is well worth a look large. This is the longest focal length that I can get from the 8" Newtonian and the 1" sensor of the QHY183M, this is almost same view that a 10" and ASP-C camera will get.

Steve Paxton replied to Ko Hummel:

Thank You Ko I hope that others also enjoy as much as I do being able to bring a Image to them they will never have seen. I am sure that there are so many people who see this shot but have no idea just what it is they are seeing in front of them. Deep space is such a change as you know to get right to get a good image a lot has to go right. The interesting part about this Nebula is not visible to the Americans' is only in the Southern Part of the milky way. For all those living north of the equator a target they cant get.
