A little bit of colour.

In WA a totally evergreen place and very hot summers. Not a lot of colour from trees in Autumn, Much like trying to find snow and ice in the desert. Rare as hens teeth......These Poplar trees are not the normal but a special planting in a park.

I have to confess what I really do miss living in WA after NZ. So we have to take what we get even been hard work in my own bonsai's.

Steve Paxton replied to Sarah O':

I wish I could say it was all around but so far from the truth this is the only set of trees I know of in Perth. A truly lovely time of year.

Not all fall colours need to be exaggerated, Steve. This is the gentleness of autumn, as you now approach the fullness of summer once again. I like your bonsai.
