Spark To a flame Winter 2014

My very first ever try with the D600 and a look at the stars. I knew nothing but knew I wanted to take photos of the stars, here is the very first, the rest they say is learning. I found this shot and though I would inspire others from nothing you can go on to great things. still look at this shot with awe ignorance is true bliss and humble beginnings.

PIP is the very latest.shots from the same place

A lot of Darkness 2014 and a whole lot of learning but every bit has been worth it I would not take it back as not worth while. I remember this night and seeing the stars and the satellite on the back of the camera blew me away And this is the 24-120mm F4 lens. my one hope is to go forward not go back and learn more and improve where I can. Glad you like this very humble shot at the start.

That was a good start, Steve, and the PiPs certainly illustrate how far your expertise in night images has developed.

Many thanks I believe its more a case of trying to strive for as close as you can get to perfection, this is the journey that you take to get there. For me it also to try and inspire others to at least give it a go.
