Day light Or Moon Light: Stony Hill 360 view

8:30PM on a full moon look at the city of Albany reflected in the clouds. Full 360 of the area.

my only chance on this trip to get an Astro shot and we got clouded in but i knew it was an interesting place so i went with my wife any way. so bright did not need a torch to see just to move the head of the tripod.

It is a pure night shot this is Stony Hill as you can see i am standing and surrounded by pure granite. while a full moon i was planning to try and get the landscape and stars but foiled by clouds that when not suppose to be there, you can see the glow of the city lights in the middle of the shots. just shows you how much light from the moon when taken at night with my Astro settings i only upped the F stop to 5.6 rather than fully open but you are 100% right looks the very same, many thanks

most people don't realise that though and would shy away from even trying.

Fabulous panorama even though there were clouds!

Steve Paxton replied to Gudrun:

Most never think there is so much light from a full moon but under normal astro this is what you get. i tied to keep it bright not take the ISO down to 1000 and make it look a little darker. worth a try.
