Weil man diesen Pilz im Winterhalbjahr finden kann, bezeichnet man diesen frostresistenten Pilz auch als "Winterpilz", sein Artname ist Gemeiner Samtfußrübling (Flammulina velutipes).
Man findet ihn an Baumstümpfen (siehe Foto) und abgefallenen Ästen, aber auch an Stämmen von lebenden Bäumen.

As this mushroom is found in the winter months, this frost-resistant mushroom is also known as the "winter mushroom" and its species name is Velvet foot Fungus (Flammulina velutipes).
It can be found on tree stumps (see photo) and fallen branches, but also on the trunks of living trees.
