Hoch oben auf einer Hochspannungsleitung sitzt dieser weibliche
Turmfalke (Falco tinnunculus) und lauert auf Nahrung. Die Felder sind mittlerweile alle abgeerntet, so dass die Mäuse (eine Hauptnahrung der Falken) sehr gut zu sehen sind. Greifvögel besitzen übrigens wesentlich "schärfere" Augen als wir Menschen.

common kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) and lurks for food. The fields have all been harvested by now, so the mice (a main food of the falcons) are very easy to see. Incidentally, birds of prey have much "sharper" eyes than we humans do.
