HBM from Berwick-upon-Tweed

Berwick-upon-Tweed is the most northerly town in England, and its parking is £1 forever. What a good way to attract tourists.

There are 3 bridges in view. The most obvious is The Old Berwick Bridge of 1624 with 15 arches. Just behind that and only just visible under the third arch from the rights is The Royal Tweed Bridge built in 1928 and opened by Edward VIII. In the far distance one can see The Royal Border Bridge (1850) with its elegant arches which carries the railway crossing.

It's possible to see all 3 bridges more clearly if you visit my album entitled 'Northumberland'.
