I appreciate Henry Moore for the way he brought art to the public—his sculptures stand in open spaces, where anyone can see them. This gives his work a natural connection with both the landscape and the people who encounter it.

I photographed a related piece at his former home in Perry Green, now a museum that is well worth a visit: www.ipernity.com/doc/havran/51139566

MIT owns a Henry Moore. From the backside, it looks like a bunny.

The contrast between the Henry Moore and the old house works perfectly, a fabulous juxtaposition!
