I love the covered section Amelia. I have never seen the prison on our visits to Shrewsbury. It has fabulous chimneys. Do you know what is proposed in the new development?

It's hardly a tourist spot, Rosa, being at the north east of the town centre, but it has a nice walk down to the river where it's possible to walk to the south west of the town without getting caught up with shops and shoppers.

From the many chimneys you can conclude that at least they always had nice and warm in the prison. ;-)

I really wonder what idea they will have with the former prison. For example, in France (in Avignon), 200 works of contemporary art are exhibited in the former prison... HFF Amelia.
