Green layers.

Today's challenge is: Serenity .

Green is a very restful colour. This view is within easy walking distance from our home. The small building nestling in the trees is the former Ruyton-of-the-XI-Towns Independent [then United Reformed Church] Chapel. It was erected in 1832-3 by local builder Nathanael Edwards of Ruyton on a site bought for £5, and cost £500 to build. The chapel opened on Good Friday 5th April 1833.

This is just so soothing an image Amelia. Wonderful for the challenge. The image just invites one in to enjoy the soft greens surroundings. A photograph to get lost in. Thanks for sharing the information regarding the Chapel.:)
