Outdated. UPDATED VERSION POSTED.

Medley

Medley is a gorgeous black & white 1-2 year old gal who was trapped as a feral momma. Oxytocin did it's magic, and Medley has come to welcome humans and affection. Medley's youngsters have been adopted, and now Medley would like her own home. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Medley has been spayed, dewormed, and vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. This beautiful lady uses the litterbox consistently and is looking for a warm, safe, loving home of her own. Medley may initially be somewhat frightened in a new home, but she is very much worth the wait as she warms up to her new family. Adoption fee: $50.

Valentine (ADOPTED)

Valentine, estimated to be anywhere from 1 1/2 to 5+ years old, has a whole lot loving to give and a whole lot of self for loving. This big boy really could stand to lose a few pounds. He enjoys playing but gets a bit winded yet. Valentine tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He is neutered. Valentine has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Adoption fee: $50.

Mr. Grigsby: SPECIAL NEEDS

Mr. Grigsby is a gregarious, outgoing feline. People who visit to choose a home often fall in love with his handsome looks, outgoing personality, and soft fur. However, he will need a special home. After all, Mr. Grigsby is allergic to standard cat food. He can have limited ingredient duck and pea without difficulty or, what we feed him, ground up chicken from Woody's Pet Food Deli. Of note, it isn't as simple as that. Why not? Mr. Grigsby is food obsessed. He will go after any food in the sink and even has figured out ways to open cabinets (now all have magnets holding them closed). This boy will tear into bags of anything left on the counter. We do our best to keep Mr. Grigsby away from anything that will cause him to react, but he manages to get into something every six to eight months or so. When it happens, he needs to have a steroid. His face swells and his paws swell. His lips ulcerate. If Mr. Grigsby doesn't get a steroid in time, his paw pads crack and his paws become secondarily infected thanks to the litterbox. Yep, it's best to catch it early. Mr. Grigsby requires a home that can medically care for an allergic reaction. An organized kitchen is a must, one where nothing is left out for him to devour. With all that said, Mr. Grigsby is definitely worth all the extra effort. Adoption fee: $50.

MoMo: SPECIAL NEEDS

MoMo is our only declawed feline in the house. He arrived that way. MoMo, now approximately 8 years old, was found dodging cars scrounging for food in a grocery store parking lot. MoMo is a very quirky boy although his OCD tendencies are mellowing with age. MoMo does not want to live with other adult males (he will spray). He also at times prefers to use wee-wee pads over litterboxes. That has lessened with time, but MoMo still falls into a special needs category due to his unusual litter habits. MoMo lives in his own room in our home (apart from other adult males). Thankfully, he enjoys female company as well as kittens. His room is our "kitten room" whenever we have kittens available for adoption in our home. MoMo is neutered, dewormed, and up-to-date on all vaccinations including distemper and FeLV. Adoption fee: $50.

Misu (RESERVED)

Misu is such a gorgeous, outgoing, affectionate young lady who had been living under a pool house in a neighborhood until winter drove her to ask for help from humans. Misu is approximately ten months old. She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Misu has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Adoption fee: $60.

Mushu

Mushu was hanging out near a home in St. Paul for months before finding his way into our care. This big boy was neutered on 1/6/15. He has been vaccinated against rabies and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Mushu tends to be targeted by other felines (he attracts the negative attention), so he would be vulnerable around dominant felines. He does fine around the female foster felines in our home. Mushu is approximately two years old. Mushu is available for adoption for $50.

Kung Pao

Polydactyl Kung Pao is approximately two years old. He is a friendly, outgoing tabby-and-white boy who spent weeks hanging out in a town until some people took pity on him. Kung Pao was neutered on 1/6/15. He has been vaccinated against rabies and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Kung Pao prefers to be an only cat. Kung Pao is available for adoption for $50.

Sully (RESERVED)

Sully and his siblings were born on 9/1/14. These gorgeous wees were completely wild, but we are making great progress socializing them. Sully readily purrs, but he is still a bit uncertain. We would like him to be a bit more comfortable with humans before being adopted. He has been neutered, vaccinated against rabies, and dewormed. Sully will be available for adoption for $60.

Maguire

Maguire and his siblings were born on 9/1/14. These gorgeous wees were completely wild, but we are making great progress socializing them. Maguire definitely LOVES being cuddled. He still isn't quite certain, however, around humans until touched. Then his motor turns on. Maguire has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies. He is available for adoption for $60.

Ellie & her son Russell (soon available for adoption)

Ellie had a litter of kittens on a property, and by the time we became involved only one kitten remained. The pair joined us on 1/16/15. Ellie, albeit shy, has been around humans in the past. Russell has not. We are working on socializing the pair to get them ready for adoption. As they are so bonded we would love for the pair to be adopted together. They will be spayed/neutered on 2/11/15.

Booja (soon available for adoption)

Approximately 5-month-old Booja showed up on a farm where he was beat up regularly by the barn cats. All Booja wanted to do was hang out by the house and beg to get indoors where he could be loved up by humans. Booja will be neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Surgery is scheduled for 2/11/15.

Claude (soon available for adoption)

Claude (Monet) is a handsome, gregarious, neutered approximately one-year-old male who has been vaccinated against distemper and rabies. Claude tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The dear boy loves to play, and he certainly enjoys a good cuddle. Claude consistently uses the litterbox. Of note, this boy likes to be top cat and may target “weaker” housemates. He does fine with others who are confident. Adoption Fee: $50.
