Claude
Claude (Monet) is a handsome, gregarious, neutered approximately one-year-old male who has been vaccinated against distemper and rabies. Claude tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The dear boy loves to play, and he certainly enjoys a good cuddle. Claude consistently uses the litterbox. Of note, this boy likes to be top cat and may target “weaker” housemates. He does fine with others who are confident. Adoption Fee: $50.
Medley
Medley is a gorgeous black & white 1-2 year old gal who was trapped as a feral momma. Oxytocin did it's magic, and Medley has come to welcome humans and affection. Medley's youngsters have been adopted, and now Medley would like her own home. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Medley has been spayed, dewormed, and vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. This beautiful lady uses the litterbox consistenty and is looking for a warm, safe, loving home of her own. Medley may initially be somewhat frightened in a new home, but she is very much worth the wait as she warms up to her new family. Adoption fee: $50.
Vitis (ADOPTED)
Vitis is an outgoing, loving fella who came from a colony with ringworm. Thankfully the ringworm has been completely cleared, and he and his buddies are now looking for warm, safe, loving forever homes. His guesstimated birthdate is 5/1/14. Vitis tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He has been neutered, vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia, and dewormed. Vitis greets visitors and even accompanies them to the door to say goodbye. This dear boy will make a wonderful addition to a family. Adoption fee: $60.
Aster (ADOPTED)
Aster arrived on 9/10/14. He was guesstimated to be eight weeks old putting his approximate birth date on 7/23/14. Aster tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. Aster climbs into laps of strangers to settle down for a nap. This precious boy is available for adoption for $60.
Honey Bee (ADOPTED)
While Honey Bee is petite, she is older than several of the boys. Honey Bee joined us 11/1/14 at about 6 months of age. Given she is approximately the same age as Vitis and from the same location, she may very well be his sibling. Her guesstimated birthdate is 5/1/14. Honey Bee tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia, and dewormed. This gorgeous girl has been adapting to indoor living and would love a home of her own. Adoption fee: $60.
Spider Mite (ADOPTED)
Spider is a precious, outgoing, affectionate mite who's guesstimated birth date is 5/28/14. He came from the colony that had ringworm and has been successfully treated for the fungal infection. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Spider has been neutered, vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia, and dewormed. Spider is available for adoption for $60.
Leech (ADOPTED)
Lovable Leech was trapped on 9/10/14, caught in a trap with his mother. Leech never, ever wanted to leave his mother's side, but his momma was very pregnant with her next litter. Thankfully, as I suspected, Leech was able to transfer that affection for his momma toward his foster human. Leech's estimated birth date is 5/28/14. We are guessing that Spider and Leech are siblings. Leech tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He has been neutered, vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia, and dewormed. Leech may take a bit of time to warm up to strangers, but he is such a loverboy that he is more than worth it. Adoption fee: $60.
Chigger (ADOPTED)
Chigger is a miracle kitty who arrived on death's door but has blossomed into a phenomenal young man. We are not certain of Chigger's age as he was so emaciated and sickly, but we are guessing that he may likely have been born in June 2014. Chigger tested faintly positive for feline leukemia, and his second test will be performed on 12/4/14. Chigger has recovered from his extensive ringworm and has grown a super soft chocolate brown/charcoal gray coat. Chigger loves to run and play but also loves to cuddle. He has never shown any fear of our dogs from day one. Chigger has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Chigger is available for adoption for $60.
Mr. Grigsby: SPECIAL NEEDS
Mr. Grigsby is another gregarious, outgoing feline. People who visit to choose a home often fall in love with his handsome looks, outgoing personality, and soft fur. However, he will need a special home. After all, Mr. Grigsby is allergic to standard cat food. He can have limited ingredient duck and pea without difficulty or, what we feed him, ground up chicken from Woody's Pet Food Deli. Of note, it isn't as simple as that. Why not? Mr. Grigsby is food obsessed. He will go after any food in the sink and even has figured out ways to open cabinets (now all have magnets holding them closed). This boy will tear into bags of anything left on the counter. We do our best to keep Mr. Grigsby away from anything that will cause him to react, but he manages to get into something every six to eight months or so. When it happens, he needs to have a steroid. His face swells and his paws swell. His lips ulcerate. If Mr. Grigsby doesn't get a steroid in time, his paw pads crack and his paws become secondarily infected thanks to the litterbox. Yep, it's best to catch it early. Mr. Grigsby requires a home that can medically care for an allergic reaction. An organized kitchen is a must, one where nothing is left out for him to devour. With all that said, Mr. Grigsby is definitely worth all the extra effort. Adoption fee: $50.
MoMo: SPECIAL NEEDS
MoMo is our only declawed feline in the house. He arrived that way. MoMo, now approximately 8 years old, was found dodging cars scrounging for food in a grocery store parking lot. MoMo is a very quirky boy although his OCD tendencies are mellowing with age. MoMo does not want to live with other adult males (he will spray). He also at times prefers to use wee-wee pads over litterboxes. That has lessened with time, but MoMo still falls into a special needs category due to his unusual litter habits. MoMo lives in his own room in our home (apart from other adult males). Thankfully, he enjoys female company as well as kittens. His room is our "kitten room" whenever we have kittens available for adoption in our home. MoMo is neutered, dewormed, and up-to-date on all vaccinations including distemper and FeLV. Adoption fee: $50.

Pip and Talia are a pair of 2-year-old sisters who were returned to the rescue after the family adopted a dog that targeted the girls. The family opted to keep the dog rather than their cats. Pip is a DMH who is all gray while Talia is a DM who is all black. We are seeking a forever home for the pair together, preferably one without a dog.
Valentine is a BIG buff BOY. A handsome, friendly fella who would love his own family.
