OUTDATED. Please see current post.
Please consider opening your heart and home to these felines. Adoptions are what make it possible to rescue more off the streets. Thank you for your support!
Hala & Gunay (ADOPTED)
Hala & Gunay are a fabulous pair of bonded 5-month-old siblings looking for a warm, safe, loving forever home. Gunay is somewhat more outgoing than his sister, but Hala is quick to be affectionate once she knows you. These two have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Both tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They are available for adoption for $100 for the pair.
Sigrid (ADOPTED)
The lovely Sigrid arrived pregnant but soon miscarried. With her gentle spirit and affection for humans and other felines, Sigrid would have made a marvelous momma. Sigrid has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She's a mellow girl who does enjoy playing from time to time. Sigrid loves laps but will settle for lying on a sofa near her humans. A very content, beautiful spirit. Sigrid is available for adoption for $50.
Frazzles & Keebler (Frazzles still healing from second surgery)
Frazzles & Keebler are bonded brothers. They trapped at a local gas station. Frazzles was missing half his tail, and what remained had significant damage. Frazzle was neutered and had his tail amputated at the same time. Keebler took a bit longer to warm up, but now loves interacting with others. They have been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Both tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The boys are both still on an antibiotic at this time, Frazzles due to his tail nubbin breaking open from time to time and Keebler because he has had the sniffles for as long as he's been with us (attempting to clear up any secondary bacterial infection he may have). The boys are available for adoption for $100.
Koots (ADOPTED)
The floofy, lovable Koots is a 4-month-old kitten who has been neutered and vaccinated against distemper. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Koots is available for adoption for $60.
Woo (ADOPTED)
Woo is a precious, energetic, loving young man who was in miserable shape when he arrived at about 4 weeks old. Hard to believe this bundle of energy ever was lying still under a heat lamp for a few days when he arrived in our care. Woo still does have a bit of an upper respiratory infection. Woo tested negative for feline leukemia, but his FIV test was positive. That may mean that he simply carries antibodies from his momma (we can't know for sure until he's 6 months old). If he weren't still sneezing, this delightful wee would be out running all over the main house. Hopefully that'll clear up soon. Woo is available for adoption for $60.
Bligh
Beautiful Bligh, a slightly cross-eyed mackerel tabby, was likely born in early spring. She's been warming up to humans. Bligh does well with me, but visitors still unnerve her. Bligh has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Bligh is available for adoption for $60.
Enid (ADOPTED)
Enid is a young lady who, like Bligh, Gigli, Tati, & Jujo, would have been shot by the homeowners if she remained on their property. Thankfully Enid learned quickly that she enjoys affection. This beauty has some damage to her left eye, but she can still see out of it and she's otherwise doing well. She's been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Enid is available for adoption for $60.
Tati (ADOPTED)
Tati figured out quickly that she's discovered the good life. Not sure how anyone could have shot this outgoing, affectionate, confident black young lady. She's been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLF. Tati is available for adoption for $60.
Gigli
Wee Gigli is the smallest from the property where the felines were all to be shot. Like Enid, she is a classic tabby. Gigli loves affection but is still wary of visitors. We'll be working on socializing her more to strangers. Gigli has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Gigli is available for adoption for $60.
Rudy (FeLV+)
Rudy is a delightful young man, nearing 3 months old, who arrived in rough shape but now delights in life. Rudy has been neutered and vaccinated against distemper. The wee boy unfortunately tested positive for feline leukemia x2 and now resides in our feline leukemia room. With that said, Rudy has a whole lot of loving to give and an infectious love of life. Rudy would love to find a forever home to cherish him. Rudy is available for adoption for $60.
Gibli (ADOPTED)
Gibli is a beautiful young lady, about 6 months old, who returned to our care after her family felt that they didn't have the time to give her. Gibli LOVES attention and wants affection all the time. We're trying to acclimate her to living with other felines, but that is taking some time. Gibli is one that came down with parvovirus three days after her spay clinic, but the only thing residual is that Gibli is prone to having looser stools. Her new humans tested her stool for parasites and giardia, but all was negative. We are putting her onto a raw diet to correct the loser stools. Gibli has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She is available for adoption for $60.
Minx (FeLV+)
Adorable wee Minx was found in hedges near a highway, a friendly mite who was likely dumped. This wee girl will be spayed on 9/26/17 and tested for FIV/FeLV. She has been vaccinated against distemper. Minx will be available for adoption for $60.
Violet (FeLV+)
Violet is a lovely two-year-old calico who has the misfortune of being positive for feline leukemia. Violet is energetic and outgoing, a loving, friendly girl. She does have chronic runny eyes, but otherwise this girl is doing quite well. She has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Violet would love a forever home of her own. She'd definitely enjoy having a fellow FeLV+ buddy. Violet is available for adoption for $40.
Miss Flick
Three-year-old Miss Flick was trapped as a feral kitten. She has been undergoing socialization, but Miss Flick doesn't show well as she doesn't trust strangers. In general, although she can be picked up and has had her claws trimmed without incident, Miss Flick really isn't overly fond of having her four paws off the ground. Miss Flick has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She is available for adoption for $50 but requires a very understanding human.
MoMo
MoMo arrived into our care declawed. MoMo, now at least 11 years old, quite possibly significantly older, was found dodging cars scrounging for food in a grocery store parking lot. MoMo is a very quirky boy although his OCD tendencies are mellowing with age. MoMo does not want to live with other adult males although the adult females adore him and he enjoys kittens. MoMo used wee-wee pads instead of litterboxes when he arrived in our care. He has since had declaw salvage surgery to remove fragments of bone that plague him for years. MoMo now uses the litterbox to urinate but still prefers wee-wee pads for pooping. MoMo is neutered, dewormed, and has been vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and FeLV. MoMo's overall health has declined, but his labwork has all been normal. We are not sure how much longer the dear boy has, but he would love to have a devoted human to love him until his day comes. Adoption fee: $40. By the way, MoMo is hands down the best hugger in the house.
Lulu
Lulu remains a timid girl, shutting down whenever visitors are in her area. She loves other felines, and she is fond of doritos, trying to steal them whenever they are eaten. Lulu is not for just anyone. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Lulu tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Lulu is available for adoption for $40.
Blarney
Blarney is sister to Sigrid (and looks similar to her). Both girls are between 1 and 2 years old. Blarney will be spayed once her kitten is weaned. Blarney has been vaccinated against distemper and will be vaccinated against rabies when spayed. Blarney tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She's available for adoption for $50. Blarney has a personality very similar to her sister Sigrid, so I suspect she'll be an equal treasure.
Mookie (ADOPTED)
Mookie is a lovely young lady of perhaps 10 months of age who will be spayed on 11/21/17 then available for adoption. Mookie has been vaccinated against distemper and will be vaccinated against rabies when spayed. Mookie tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Mookie is an outgoing, social girl who loves everyone. Mookie will be available for adoption for $60.
Sherea (ADOPTED)
Sherea is one of three black kittens who arrived through a local impound, sickly, flea-ridden, and miserable. Sherea and her brothers survived parvo, and now she is almost ready for a forever home. Sherea will be spayed and tested for FIV/FeLV. Both done. Sherea's available for adoption for $60.
Silas (ADOPTED)
Silas is one of three black kittens who arrived through a nearby impound. The trio was anemic from such an extensive flea infestation. They had a nasty upper respiratory virus as well. Somehow the trio managed to survive parvo on top of everything else. Silas has been neutered and tested for FIV/FeLV. He's available for adoption for $60.
Spencer (ADOPTED)
Spencer is one of three black kittens who arrived quite sickly from a nearby impound. Thankfully, the three have overcome everything from a flea infestation to a nasty upper respiratory virus to parvovirus. Spencer has been neutered and tested for FIV/FeLV then ready for a forever home. He's available for adoption for $60.
Berry (ADOPTED)
Berry arrived with a fractured femur. She had it pinned, but the nerve supply was ended up damaged and Berry required an amputation. She is recovering from her second surgery before she gets spayed and vaccinated against rabies. Berry is vaccinated against distemper as well as negative for FIV/FeLV. Berry will be available for adoption for $60 once spayed.
Barnaby (ADOPTED)
Barnaby is a big hunk of orange handsomeness, a friendly, loving, food-motivated fella. Barnaby has been neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He's available for adoption for $50 (that sore by his nose is completely healed now).
Elvira
Elvira was completely feral when she arrived, but I have won her completely over. Now begins the task of expanding her world to accept other humans. Elvira has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is available for adoption for $50.
Abbott (ADOPTED)
Abbott is the last kitten born to Britta in need of a forever home. He will be available for adoption for $60 once neutered on 12/12/17.
Sambo (ADOPTED)
Wee Sambo is one of Ophelia's kittens. He will be available for adoption once neutered on 12/19/17.
Bird (ADOPTED)
Bird is another one of Ophelia's kittens. She will be available for adoption for $60 once spayed on 12/19/17.
Emmeline (ADOPTED)
Emmeline is one of six kittens born to the lovely Ophelia. Emmeline will be available for adoption for $60 once spayed on 12/19/17.
