George (ADOPTED)
George is an amazingly precious 2-month-old kitten born approximately 5/16/14. He and his littermates were found by police out in the middle of a field by a middle school. We had a surrogate momma for the crew, and Bristol did a marvelous job of raising the kittens. George is an active, playful, loving kitten. He has been vaccinated against distemper. He uses the litterbox faithfully. Adoption Fee: a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by seven months of age).

Beetle Bug (ADOPTED)
Wee Beetle Bug is an 8-week-old kitten born approximately 5/27/14. This gorgeous wee mite was found at Valleyfair and made her way into our care. Beetle Bug is an incredibly confident girl who does very well with children, not shying away from their quick, unpredictable movements. The wee girl is quite lovable and also talkative. The playful girl has been vaccinated against distemper. She uses the litterbox faithfully. Adoption Fee: a fully refundabe $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by seven months of age).

Esther Sophie (ADOPTED)
Esther Sophie is a precious three-month-old kitten who is loving, outgoing, and playful. She was born some time in April 2014. Esther Sophie has been spayed as well as vaccinated against both rabies and distemper. Esther Sophie can be a bit growly playing with other kittens, but does enjoy the activity. She uses the litterbox faithfully. Esther Sophie is available for adoption for $70.

Miss Pignoli (ADOPTED)
Miss Pignoli is a sweet 2-month-old kitten with a guesstimated birthdate of 5/18/14. She and her siblings were discovered under a house here in town. We trapped momma and the entire litter. Momma Whoopie Pie was feral and has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies, and released. The momma tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The litter has been socialized and is ready for their own warm, safe, loving homes. Miss Pignoli is playful, just a touch shy but adapts well, and seems to have a fondness for licking feet. Miss Pignoli has been vaccinated against distemper and uses the litterbox faithfully. Adoption Fee: a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by seven months of age).

Fat Rascal
Fat Rascal is a comical 2-month-old kitten with a guesstimated birthdate of 5/18/14. He and his siblings were discovered under a house here in town. We trapped momma and the entire litter. Momma Whoopie Pie was feral and has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies, and released. The momma tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The litter has been socialized and is ready for their own warm, safe, loving homes. Fat Rascal loves to play, and he enjoys cuddling, but he is a bit uncertain still of strangers. He is quite playful, and he settles down nicely on my lap for a nap. Fat Rascal has been vaccinated against distemper and uses the litterbox faithfully. Adoption Fee: a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by seven months of age).

Fig Newton
Fig Newton is an adorable 2-month-old kitten with a guesstimated birthdate of 5/18/14. Fig Newton is playful, but he is a bit shy around strangers. The dear boy can be lured out with toys, though, as he loves to play. He enjoys napping on my lap. Fig Newton has been vaccinated against distemper and uses the litterbox faithfully. Adoption Fee: a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by seven months of age).

Spritz
Spritz is a precious 2-month-old kitten with a guesstimated birthdate of 5/18/14. Spritz is a bit more reserved than her siblings, but she loves to play and loves to cuddle. Spritz is the first to greet me at the door to beg to be picked up. Spritz has been vaccinated against distemper and uses the litterbox faithfully. Adoption Fee: a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by seven months of age).

Maverick
Maverick is an ~10-month old adolescent who has transitioned from feral to friendly. Maverick now LOVES to cuddle. Maverick has been a bit nervous around visitors, but he finally associates them with good things (TREATS), so he sticks around to meet them. Maverick has crawled into the lap of one visitor for a good cuddle. He has super soft fur and welcomes scritches all over. Maverick gets super excited about treats, so it is best to put them in front of him instead of holding them out to him in a hand (he snatches the treat and sometimes gets a finger with it). This dear boy gets nervous around sudden movements and would be best in a home without small kids. This cuddly love has been neutered, dewormed, and vaccinated against rabies. He is FIV/FeLV negative. He has also received his first FeLV and distemper vaccinations. Maverick consistently uses the litterbox. Adoption Fee: $50.

Sherman: Available for Adoption (monthly heartworm medication)
Sherman is a BIG boy (he's down from the 17 pounds 6 ounces that he weighed when he first arrived) who lived in a trailer park where a woman had pity on him and would set out food for him. He obviously ate well. However, while living in the trailer park Sherman ended up with heartworm. Heartworm doesn't affect the heart in cats but can go to other organs. Sherman has been on ivermectin and a steroid. He will require a once-monthly dose of ivermectin (available at Fleet Farm) for the next couple of years. This big loverboy is worth it, though. Such a special fellow. Sherman arrived neutered, so he likely was once someone's pet. We had him vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and FeLV. Now he'd like to find a warm, safe, loving forever home. He has been dewormed and consistently uses a litterbox. He doesn't like close interactions with other cats, and Sherman seems to enjoy men. Adoption fee: $50.

Medley: Available for Adoption
Medley is a gorgeous black & white 1-2 year old gal who was trapped as a feral momma. Oxytocin did it's magic, and Medley has come to welcome humans and affection. Medley's youngsters have been weaned and Medley has been spayed, dewormed, and vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and FeLV. (Medley tested negative for FIV/FeLV.) This beautiful lady uses the litterbox consistenty and is looking for a warm, safe, loving home of her own. Medley will initially be frightened, but she is very much worth the wait as she warms up to a new home. Adoption fee: $50.

Puck: SPECIAL NEEDS
Puck is a precious 10-month-old kitten who faces bouts of eosinophilic granuloma complex. We believe her trigger is an ingredient in standard cat food and cat treats, so she is on a raw diet from Woody's Pet Food Deli. Puck can eat limited ingredient duck & pea food as well. Puck will always be petite in spite of eating more than any other cat in the house. Between her energy level and her metabolism, I don't ever expect Puck to reach more than six pounds. Puck had feline leukemia, but she has seroconverted and no longer carries the virus in her blood (both SNAP and IFA negative). She has been spayed, dewormed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper. The dear girl consistently uses the litterbox. Adoption Fee: $50.

Mr. Grigsby: SPECIAL NEEDS
Mr. Grigsby is another gregarious, outgoing feline. People who visit to choose a feline often fall in love with his handsome looks, outgoing personality, and soft fur. However, he will need a special home. After all, Mr. Grigsby is allergic to standard cat food. He can have limited ingredient duck and pea without difficulty or, what we feed him, ground up chicken from Woody's Pet Food Deli. Of note, it isn't as simple as that. Why not? Mr. Grigsby is food obsessed. He will go after any food in the sink and even has figured out ways to open cabinets (now all have magnets holding them closed). This boy will tear into bags of anything left on the counter. We do our best to keep Mr. Grigsby away from anything that will cause him to react, but he manages to get into something every six to eight months or so. When it happens, he needs to have a steroid. His face swells and his paws swell. His lips ulcerate. If Mr. Grigsby doesn't get a steroid in time, his paw pads crack and his paws become secondarily infected from walking in the litterbox. Yep, it's best to catch it early. Mr. Grigsby requires a home that can medically care for an allergic reaction. An organized kitchen is a must, one where nothing is left out for him to devour. With all that said, Mr. Grigsby is definitely worth all the extra effort. Adoption fee: $50.

MoMo: SPECIAL NEEDS
MoMo is our only declawed feline in the house. He arrived that way. MoMo, now approximately 8 years old, was found dodging cars scrounging for food in a grocery store parking lot. MoMo is a very quirky boy although his OCD tendencies are mellowing with age. MoMo does not want to live with other adult males (he will spray). He also at times prefers to use wee-wee pads over litterboxes. That has lessened with time, but MoMo still falls into a special needs category due to his unusual litter habits. MoMo lives in his own room in our home (apart from other adult males). Thankfully, he enjoys female company as well as kittens. His room is our "kitten room" whenever we have kittens available for adoption in our home. MoMo is neutered, dewormed, and up-to-date on all vaccinations including distemper and FeLV. Adoption fee: $50.

Cabana
Cabana made her way onto the property of someone feeding a couple of outdoor cats. As she was friendly, they wanted her to find an indoor home. This approximately one-year-old tested for negative for FIV/FeLV. However, she isn't fond of other cats. Cabana isn't aggressive toward them. Instead, she makes herself a target by complaining about their presence vocally and cowering. Cabana has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies. As she did have an upper respiratory infection, we checked her a second time after being with us for over a month for FIV/FeLV. She tested negative again. Cabana cleared her upper respiratory infection and is now a happy, healthy feline who longs for a forever home. One without so many felines. Adoption Fee: $50.

Raphael

raphael

Raphael is a loving, one-year-old male who has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies. The dear boy tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Dexter, Reina, Angus, Tuli, & Sophie

This litter of two-month-old kittens was trapped by police and turned into impound. We rescued them to give them a chance at life. Momma Jamaica Hope was quite feral, so we had her spayed, vaccinated against rabies, and released her in a safe, cat-friendly environment. Jamaica Hope tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Dexter, Reina, Angus, Tuli, and Sophie have been socialized by a young teenager. Each one is available for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay/neuter by seven months of age).
