Available Felines 11/24/18

***OUTDATED LIST, PLEASE CHECK OUT CURRENT POST***

Please consider opening your heart and home to the following felines.

Vogue (ADOPTED)

Vogue has such a luxurious coat. While she's still hand-shy, Vogue melts with affection, purring away and delighting in the interaction. Vogue loves other cats and enjoys cuddling with her human. She will require a patient human to win her heart. Vogue is available for adoption for $60. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Vogue tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Zanella

Zanella is a gorgeous young lady who arrived with her kittens. Her kittens were all adopted, and Zanella continues to await her own forever home. Zanella has some permanent damage to her right eye, but she's still able to see fine. She also has a bit of a heart murmur. Overall, she's a happy girl who cuddles at night. Zanella is still adjusting to strangers, so she will need ample time to warm up to forever humans. Zanella is available for adoption for $50. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Zanella tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia.

Madge (SPECIAL NEEDS)

Madge arrived a semi-feral momma. Thankfully, this beauty has a very sweet nature and loves loving. However, she remains a smidge shy around strangers. Madge has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Madge does have food allergies and is currently eating a raw chicken diet (from Woody's). She also gets 1/2 tab chlorpheniramine (an inexpensive OTC allergy pill) twice daily. Madge is available for adoption for $50.

Domori

Domori, presumed daughter of Mon Cheri, arrived a semi-feral pregnant feline. Thankfully, she has warmed up to human interactions and loves affection, even from patient visitors. Domori's kittens have long since been adopted and Domori herself has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Domori tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. She's guesstimated to be a year old. This sweet “house panther” is available for adoption for $50.

Alealea

Alealea is a gorgeous young lady, about a year old. She is affectionate and outgoing, but Alealea is nervous around strangers so does initially hide. Alealea arrived spayed. She's been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Alealea tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is available for adoption for $50.

Poncelet (FIV+)

The handsome Poncelet won the heart of the vet who was to euthanize him. She couldn't put down such a friendly fella for simply testing positive for FIV. Poncelet has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He is available for adoption for $50.

Shimmy (ADOPTED)

Shimmy arrived in rough shape, but he has been doing well. He was starving and needed a protein diet at first, but the boy is a happy, outgoing lad without a care in the world. Shimmy's belly continues to be swollen although much improved when he arrived. He is a snorer and generally a loud breather. He has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Shimmy is available for adoption for $60.

Ney Ney (ADOPTED)

Ney Ney is a marvelous momma to her two surviving boys born by emergent C-section. We are so grateful that Ney Ney was with us so she didn't perish out there on her own. She's a phenomenal feline, and we know she is meant for someone special. Ney Ney is missing her left front paw, but she doesn't let that hold her back. Ney Ney has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Ney Ney is available for adoption for $50.

Maji (ADOPTED)

Maji is an outgoing young momma who will be a marvelous addition to a family. Maji can be a little bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Maji tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Maji is available for adoption for $50.

Dax (SPECIAL NEEDS)

Dax is a precious young man with chronic upper respiratory issues. He had a polyp removed at the time of his neuter, but that didn't entirely clear his upper respiratory symptoms as he is a noisy breather. Dax is a friendly lad, still a kitten, who is waiting for his human to find him. Dax tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He's available for adoption for $60.

Sherwood (SPECIAL NEEDS)

Sherwood is an elderly gentleman with severe arthritis. He's friendly but a bit cranky, objecting if anyone touches his sore pelvis and back legs. Sherwood needs an extra understanding human to welcome him into their home and allow him to live out the rest of his time. Sherwood is neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Sherwood is available for adoption for $40.

Truss (ADOPTED)

The lovely Truss is 3 years old. We know because she was with us back when she was an itty bitty kitten. Truss was adopted out at 8 weeks old. Sadly, the humans who adopted her declawed her. Truss was returned just this year as they were downsizing. The girl really does not like other felines much and would do best as an only cat. She has chronic eye problems due to exposure to a virus at some point. Her eyes are hazy, but she can still see. She seems a bit hard of hearing as well. Truss really does love affection and even being carried like a baby, but she takes a bit to adapt to a new environment and requires an understanding human. Truss would be better off in a quieter home, I suspect. Truss is available for adoption for $50.

Miss Flick*

Four-year-old Miss Flick was trapped as a feral kitten. She has been socialized, but Miss Flick doesn't show well as she doesn't trust strangers. In general, although she can be picked up and has had her claws trimmed without incident, Miss Flick really isn't overly fond of having her four paws off the ground. Miss Flick has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She is available for adoption for $50 but requires a very understanding human.

Mon Cheri* (ADOPTED)

Mon Cheri arrived completely feral, and she had a terrible time giving birth, requiring surgery to get the kittens out, so she's already been spayed. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Mon Cheri's socialization has been slowed due to her protectiveness of her kittens, but her heart has been won. Mon Cheri is frightened of strangers, so she doesn't show well. But she loves affection from her foster mom. The beauty definitely prefers to have all four feet squarely on the ground. Mon Cheri requires a quiet, understanding home. She is available for adoption for $50.

Bedelia* (ADOPTED)

Bedelia has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Bedelia enjoys affection but is still gaining confidence with strangers. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Bedelia is available for adoption for $50 and currently requires an understanding family.

Fizzgig (SPECIAL NEEDS)

Fizzgig arrived with osteomyelitis of his lower mandible. He took antibiotics for months. The poor boy also suffers from skin ailments and has taken everything from steroids to antibiotics to allergy pills. Through it all, Fizzgig has remained a sweet, affectionate fella. Fizzgig is likely 9 months old, but he weighs only 4 pounds. We suspect he will forever be a petite fella. He has been neutered, but he continues to be plagued by presumed allergies. Fizzgig is available for adoption for $60 although he would require a home ready and willing to work with his skin problems.

Jamocha*

Jamocha is a gorgeous young lady, 6 to 7 months old, who arrived with two botfly larvae. Those were removed, and she has been learning about trusting humans. Jamocha has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. This little beauty continues to need to gain trust but is available for adoption for $60 to an understanding human. Jamocha tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Sedona (Soon Available for Adoption)

Sedona is the only survivor of a litter of 8 premature kittens born to feral adolescent momma Bisbee. Sedona ended up with a small spot of ringworm on a toe, so she will be in isolation until treatment of her ringworm is completed. Then, provided she weighs enough, she will be spayed. Sedona will be available for adoption for $60.

Clay, Dune, & Reno (Soon Available for Adoption)
These three brothers arrived covered in ringworm lesions. They're in quarantine and being treated both orally and topically for the fungal infection. The boys will be available for adoption for $60 each.

Flannery (Adopted)

Flannery has a marvelously outgoing personality who loves life. He sadly was exposed to feline leukemia while in impound. His two brothers tested positive, but Flannery has been tested three times so far and is still negative. He will need a final test around 1/10/19 to be sure he has remained negative. As a result, Flannery would need to be an only cat until his final test. This boy is a TOTAL LOVE, very outgoing and affectionate, with so much life to live and love to give. Flannery has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He is available for adoption for $60.

Royce (Adopted)

Royce is a wonderfully outgoing, life-loving young man who would love a forever home. This beautiful boy had the misfortune of being exposed to feline leukemia while in impound. He has tested positive, but Royce actually beat off the virus. He is now negative (confirmed by IFA). Royce really would love to have a busy, active family to share his life. Royce has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He is available for adoption for $60.

Watkins (ADOPTED)

Watkins is a wonderfully social young man who sadly was exposed to feline leukemia while in impound. He tested positive once he arrived in rescue, but this boy was able to beat the virus. He is now negative for feline leukemia (confirmed by IFA). Watkins is now immune to feline leukemia just like his brother Royce. Watkins is outgoing and loving and has so much to give a forever family. He's been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Watkins is available for adoption for $60.

Ponzi (SPECIAL NEEDS: One Day Available for Adoption)

Ponzi is a precious young lady who is neurologically impaired. She likely had an infection of her spinal cord in the cervical region, perhaps tetanus. She's stabilized and doing well overall but has hemiparesis. Ponzi continues to take antibiotics and steroids at this point, but we hope to wean her. Ponzi has been vaccinated against distemper, but we are holding off on her rabies and spay until she is stronger. This girl will one day be available for adoption.

Odyssey

The lovely Odyssey has a confident personality and enjoys affection. She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The beautiful girl has been vaccinated against distemper. She available for adoption for $60. She is spayed and vaccinated against rabies. Odyssey does have watery eyes and takes a lysine supplement with meals.

Gilroy (ADOPTION PENDING)
Gilroy is a handsome hunk of love now available for adoption for $50. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV/FeLV. What a love! This fella is mellow and instantly did great out in the main house. Someone will be very blessed to adopt this wee!

Frenzy (ADOPTED)

Frenzy is a gorgeous 3-month-old young lady who arrived feral. Thankfully, Frenzy has decided that she likes affection. Frenzy still is shy around strangers, but she is learning. Frenzy has been spayed and vaccinated against distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Frenzy is available for adoption for $60.

Fenwick*

Fenwick is a 3-month-old young man who arrived feral. He has just started liking affection. He's definitely shy around strangers, but he has been making great progress. Fenwick has been neutered and vaccinated against distemper. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He is available for adoption for $60.

Binsky* (ADOPTED)

Binksy is an adorable 3-month-old girl who is still transitioning from feral to friendly. She has been spayed and accinated against rabies and distemper. Binsky tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is available for adoption for $60 to a home willing to continue his socialization.

Jethro*

Jethro is a precious young 3-month-old fella still transitioning from feral to friendly. As you can see by the photo, this lad arrived with a fish hook in his mouth. What a relief for him to get that out! Jethro has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Jethro is available for adoption for $60 to a home willing to continue his socialization.

Wycliffe (SPECIAL NEEDS: One Day Available for Adoption)
Wycliffe is a handsome ol' tom who will be available for adoption once we are able to address his eyes and are able to get him neutered. Wycliffe is a blind fella, although we may be able to restore some sight to his left eye, time will tell. Wycliffe also happens to be FIV+ (although thankfully he tested negative for feline leukemia). Wycliffe will be available for adoption for $50.

Bianchi*

Bianchi is a beautiful young lady, sister to Ponzi, who is still transitioning from feral to friendly. She was born in April 2018. Bianchi has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Bianchi is available for adoption for $60 to a home that will continue her socialization.

Morton (ADOPTED)

Morton is a friendly young man, born 4/27/18 per the friend of the homeowner. He'll be available for adoption once he's been neutered. Morton will be available for adoption for $60.

Chadwick is a hunk of handsomeness, a very friendly fella who arrived with his two semi-feral kittens. Chadwick is an outgoing sweetheart, very loving and patient. Available for adoption for $50.

Daya (ADOPTED)

Daya is a very outgoing, friendly, loving young lady who sadly contracted parvovirus during her brief stint in impound. All four of her kittens died. Daya will be ready to put her sad arrival behind her once she is cleared from parvo and spayed. I am so hoping to give this beautiful girl her happy ever after. Daya will be available for adoption for $50.
